Max is our gorgeous medium-sized Australian Double Doodle stud dog based in Torquay, Devon — 18 inches tall, 17kg, with a stunning rich red fleece coat with classic tuxedo markings — white chest, white paws and a white blaze and an irresistible character to match. Fully health tested, Puppy Culture raised, and a proud proven father to his first litter with Luna in January 2026.

From the moment he arrived, Max made it absolutely clear he was going to be someone special. He took his first walk in May 2025 and promptly decided he was one of the big dogs — an attitude he has never entirely abandoned.
Whether he's swimming in the sea with Nel, striding through border security on his first holiday abroad, or settled calmly beside a wheelchair at the garden centre drawing smiles from every passer-by — Max approaches life with the same joyful, open-hearted enthusiasm.
He attended puppy school, mastered loose-lead walking (he once pulled "like a tractor on steroids"), took his first swim in August 2025, and has shown himself completely at ease in every environment. He has a natural gentleness with people of all ages that more than one person has quietly described as remarkable.

A natural instinct
from day one
In December 2025 we announced the news we had been so excited about — Luna and Max were expecting puppies together. Max took his daddy duties very seriously from the start, insisting on accompanying Luna to her scan at Lickety Split Animal Scanning in Devon.
When the puppies arrived in late January 2026, Max was allowed a brief visit to Luna and his new family. What followed was wonderful — calm, gentle, completely instinctive. He tended to the newborns with a naturalness that was remarkable to witness. He is, without question, a wonderful father.
Fully health-tested Australian Double Doodle stud dog — Devon
Max brings together the very best of his parents' bloodlines. His mother Myrtle is our gorgeous apricot/cream multi-generation Ultimate Australian Double Doodle. His father Yogi Bear is a 100% miniature/medium Australian Labradoodle — gentle, people-loving and extensively health tested.
The result is a beautifully balanced dog: medium in size, non-shedding, deeply sociable, highly trainable, with the kind of calm yet playful temperament that produces outstanding Doodle puppies.
Max is available to approved outside bitches. We always discuss health testing, temperament and background before proceeding. All health certificates available on request.
