Athena is very cute, super cuddly, soft and fluffy, and she makes us laugh every day. She is always happy to see everyone she meets, wants to make friends with every dog, and greets you with a massive cheesy grin, even if you've only been away for five minutes.

She loves a cuddle, but strictly on her terms. She thinks she is more human than dog: she sits like a human and passes judgement through side eyes. She only likes being carried by Daniel, and gives great snuggles when he does.

• Makes it look like she can catch a ball, then misses it spectacularly and chases it all over the garden
• Wags her tail so hard the rest of her body wiggles with it
• Hears the fridge open and the rustle of snacks from at least 50 metres away
• Is incredibly good at "move your feet, lose your seat"
• Loves anything that squeaks or crinkles, but hasn't quite learnt how fetch and drop works
• Overestimates how much space and grip she has, and crashes quite a bit

Athena has the patience of a saint, right up until the late night zoomies start. Her favourite spot for waiting for people to come home is the top of the back of the sofa.

Outdoors, she loves long country walks, and stick hunting is her weekend hobby. When she isn't out exploring, she is sleeping!
