Indie is our fun-loving and affectionate UltimateDoodle, a petite miniature-sized Double Doodle with a gorgeous light red, non-shedding coat. She’s a clever, energetic companion who adores adventures, playtime, and snuggling with her family. A proud graduate of the Puppy Culture program, Indie is calm, gentle, and a dream to train. She’s not just a wonderful pet but also a nurturing mum, making her a true gem in the KingscoteDoodle family.

Meet Indie
Indie is our gorgeous UltimateDoodle (Double Doodle) and the daughter of KingscoteDoodle matriarch, Molly (an F1b Labradoodle), and Bertie (an F2 Goldendoodle). She’s a petite, miniature-sized doodle, standing 17 inches tall at the shoulder and weighing about 12kg. Her light red, wavy, non-shedding coat is soft as silk—an absolute dream to cuddle!
Indie is full of life and loves nothing more than chasing rabbits and squirrels in the woods or racing around the garden with her best friend, KingscoteDoodle Nel. The two of them are inseparable and always up to a bit of harmless mischief—double the fun (and double the trouble) when they’re together!
Indie splits her time between the Kingscote household and our daughter Helen’s home, where she lives with Helen, her husband, and two of our grandchildren. While Indie feels right at home in both places, Helen is her chief “Mummy” and trainer. We all adore her, and she’s a big part of both families.
When she’s not exploring the beach, strolling through the woods, or holidaying with her sister Pickle (another Molly and Bertie pup), Indie enjoys daycare, sleepovers, playdates, and long walks with the Kingscote pack. She gets so excited whenever she meets up with her doggy family!
A Clever and Loving Companion
Helen often says Indie is the most loving, energetic, and mischievous pup she’s ever met. Thanks to the Puppy Culture program we followed during her first 12 weeks, Indie is calm and gentle when needed but always ready for fun. Helen describes her as a dream to train—super smart and eager to learn. Indie excelled at Puppy School and even graduated from Puppy University!
Like the rest of our dogs, Indie is fed a balanced raw food diet. She’s highly motivated by food and natural treats and loves solving doggy puzzles. In fact, she often puts the older dogs to shame with how quickly she figures things out.
Indie’s warm and friendly personality makes her a hit with everyone she meets—dogs and humans alike. She’ll happily snuggle up to you and melt your heart with those irresistible puppy-dog eyes. Her behavior is always impeccable, making her the perfect companion wherever she goes.
A Wonderful Mum
Indie is a natural and loving mum, not just to her own puppies but also to Nel’s litters. She loves helping out with the little ones and is incredibly gentle and nurturing.
Of course, as with all KingscoteDoodle dogs, Indie is extensively health tested. She has excellent hip scores and is fully DNA tested, ensuring she’s free from hereditary genetic conditions.
Indie’s Match
Indie’s chosen boyfriend for mating is Rufus, a stunning Double Doodle (Australian Labradoodle x Goldendoodle). Like Indie, Rufus is extensively health tested, ensuring their puppies are as healthy and wonderful as their parents.
