Rescue a puppy or a dog?

Before anyone leaps into the world of puppy parenthood, we strongly advise you to consider "rescuing" a dog from one of the many rehoming centres that are dotted around the country. There are a lot of advantages in having a "Pre-loved" pooch join your family, over an 8 week old puppy. I won't go into the pros and cons because each and every one of you will have different circumstances. For some it will work…. For others it won't. There are many thousands of puppies that are brought into households with the best of intentions, but the novelty can soon wear off once it's realised that puppies/dogs are hard work. Rescue centres are full to bursting with unfortunate puppies that are just bursting with love and commitment.
